- OVERVIEW

- FONTASTIC consists of 4 main programs and a set of alternate font files.
- The three programs are:

- IHSPRINT - Reads files which have been previously created
- by using an editor or word processor and prints
- them on your printer, causing special fonts and
- special effects to be generated.

- IHSFONT - Program to edit old fonts or create new ones.
-
- IHSUTIL - Program to move groups of characters within a font
- into another font.

- INSTALL - Program to create a PROFILE file which is used to
- define the type of printer you have. A sample
- PROFILE file is included on the distribution disk.

- On the distribution diskette, you will find the above 4 programs plus
- the following files:

- DOCUMENT.ARC Library of complete documentation on FONTASTIC.
- Use the ARC.EXE program to extract sections of
- the document for printing.

- FONTS.ARC Library of fonts. See CHAP1.DOC in the DOCUMENT.ARC
- file for an explanation of Font files.

- The above 6 files constitute FONTASTIC in its entirety. The following files
- are placed on the distribution diskette to assist you in setting up FONTASTIC.
- These files (programs) are public domain or freeware programs which you
- are encouraged to use and share independent of your use of FONTASTIC.
- They are:

- ARC.EXE File archival program
- ARC.DOC Documentation for ARC.EXE
- L4.COM File browser
- G.BAT Special BAT file processed by GBATMENU.COM for
- purpose of displaying menus
- GBATMENU.COM Controls the getting started process.
